What a great group of intelligent young ladies! It was awesome to get lots of great questions and contributions from them throughout the session! Huge thank you to Walford for inviting us into your school and empowering your students with financial literacy!

Rise High Rookies Takeaways

A  key takeaway from the session is, the earlier you start on your finance journey the better it is. In addition to that, the students learnt that they have more options than just leaving their money in a savings account in the bank. Financial Literacy is extremely important to young adults as with turning 18 years old they are finally in charge of their own money. Therefore, it is essential for them to know their options to make the best decision on investing. To build on that, setting up good financial practices and habits at a young age creates a huge impact in the future.

Check out this video to hear what the students have to say!
